The KOICA Scholarship 2024 is crafted to empower key leaders in partner countries, enabling them to actively contribute to the socio-economic development of their respective nations. In 2024, KOICA is offering 20 master’s programs and 5 doctorate programs. Applications for the KOICA Scholarship 2024 are open now. Here is your chance to come and study in South Korea for free.
KOICA Scholarship 2024 Programs
- Masters Degree Program = 17 months
- Phd Degree Program = 36 months
KOICA Scholarship 2024 Admission Process
- Submit application documents and receive government nomination.
- Attend an on-site interview by KOICA Country Office (Korean Embassy) in your home country.
- Undergo document screening by the university.
- Complete local medical check-up and university interview (and/or test).
- Arrive in Korea for orientation and medical check-up.
- Begin the degree program.
- Return to your home country.
Note: Each step proceeds for those who successfully pass the previous one.
How to Apply:

2) Institution{University) Round > Only for those who pass the KOICA Round
Application Deadline:
By the end of February 2024.

KOICA Scholarship 2024 Eligibility Criteria
- Nationality
- Applicants must be from one of the eligible countries listed above.
- Employee Status and Government Nomination
- All applicants must be government officials and receive official nomination from their respective governments for the KOICA Scholarship program.
- Age
- (Preferably) Under the age of 40
- Health
- All applicants must be in good health, both mentally and physically, to study in Korea for the full duration of the program.
- Applicants with disabilities, but in good mental and physical health, are eligible to apply.
- Applicants with severe illness are NOT ELIGIBLE to apply.
- Minimum Level of Education and Field experience
- Master’s Degree > Bachelor’s Degree & Minimum experience = (Preferably) 2 years
- Doctor’s Degree > Master’s Degree & Minimum experience = (Preferably) 3 years after graduation from KOICA Master’s degree program
- English Proficiency
- Applicants must have a strong command of English, both in speaking and writing
